Unlimited money

Buy the VW Jetta VR6. Buy every engine upgrade and the other engine. Equip your stock engine, then sell the other engine that was just bought. You will spend 1,500 credits, but gain 45,000 credits. Then, buy the other engine, equip your stock engine, and sell the other engine that was just bought to repeat this as many times as desired.

Buy a Volkswagen Jetta, then install all motor upgrades. After you install the engine, reinstall the original motor. Then, go to the second motor that you purchased for 2500 credits. Press X and sell the second motor for ten times the original price. Keep repeating this as many times as desired.

Save window tinting money

To save money on window tinting, scroll over to the color you want and press B. The color will still be on the window, and you will still have 500 credits.

Fast ranking and money

Note: This can only be done online. Have the host start the race with only a single lap. As soon as the race starts, have the host go across the start/finish line and then quit the race and return to the lobby. As the race is still going on, have the host go to game setup screen, then go to 'Laps' and set it to as high as possible. The other racers in the race will finish the single lap race. If done correctly, the racers that finish that single lap race will get paid for the laps that the host changed it to when they exit.

Recommended Drivatar creation

Buy or use a car from your garage that you wish to train for your Drivatar. Purchase the best transmission for your car (this does not apply to R Class cars) so that you can modify your gearing. You can also purchase other improved parts if desired. Next, go into 'Tune Car Setup' and change your gearing by moving the sliders all the way over to the right, beginning with the F.D. (final drive).
Your car is now configured for a workout. As a side note, starting with a new Drivatar will reduce the amount of laps required. These laps do not need to be done all in one session. On tracks you have not driven on, you will only need to do a maximum of three laps. For the Drivatar Lessons tracks, you only need five laps to overwrite the previous training. Go into 'Train Drivatar', select the desired track, then choose the car that you just tuned. The purpose of this is to create your own driving line around the selected track, and because your gears are low set, creating perfect driving lines will be easy. A low gear setting will trick the Drivatar into believing you are at the maximum speed capable for the car, no matter how fast your car is actually traveling. When making your laps, keep the throttle full at all times, even when you brake. If you are an amateur driver, follow the 'Suggested Line' even thought it is not the path of choice. The 'Suggested Line' should turn completely yellow when you reach an d maintain a high gear. Should your car not do this, reverse for one second by using X then release it. Repeat this if necessary. Some cars are more difficult to do this with, although you can get it into gear by revving the car before you start. As another suggestion, test drive the car that you decide to use after tuning it to see how it works out. When you approach a corner, apply the brakes at the beginning of it and throughout the turn. This will not tell the Drivatar to brake in this manner, but to brake when necessary while driving at the highest possible speed that allows it to follow the driving line that you are creating.
Once you reach a point in the corner where you would likely hit the accelerator, release the brakes. The Drivatar will reproduce your turns at the best speed, no matter how sharp, and in this case how you make your lines around each turn is critical for gaining ground. Corners that are not sharp (such as kinks) should not require braking because the AI will apply the brakes to a degree regardless of what you do during training. Apply the brakes just before you enter a sharper turn gives the Drivatar a little available assistance with stability when racing on driving line. The Drivatar will only use the brakes you are training it to use to stay on the line. Should you decide not to brake for sharp turns, your Drivatar will not slow down enough on its own, break from the driving line, and eventually ride off the track. A finely tweaked car will create better results. This training method will not only make your Drivatar perform well, it will also boost your stats. You should buy a car for each category rated in your stats and tune them to be used specifically for this task. Painting your cars a certain color will help with organization if you have a lot of cars in your garage. Make a backup copy of your Drivatar each time you complete a 'good' lesson -- if your next lesson goes awry, you do not need to do five laps to erase it.

Drive with no gas

Note: you must be using a manual transmission. When you are out of gas and are at a complete stop, quickly shift from first gear into second gear then back into first gear while holding Gas. When you downshift, notice that your car's speed will go to 1 mph. Continue quickly shifting back and forth from first and second and your car will gradually gain speed. When it seems that you are no longer accelerating, simply start shifting between second and third gear.

Easy levels

Go to the A class Championship with a car like the Chevrolet Corvette C6. Buy as many upgrades as you can without going into the S class. Then, just keep racing at Sunset Peninsula: Speedway. You can also increase your difficulty for more earnings.

Multi-view mode

Have two or more Xbox systems linked with their own game disc. Start each of the the games and enter the options menu. Highlight the 'Credits' option, then click the Left Analog-stick. A new 'Network Cockpit Settings' option should appear. If it does not, press the Left Analog-stick Down while clicking it. Set the 'Host' option on one of the Xbox systems. On the other Xbox systems, select the desired view. When ready, start a game on the host Xbox. The other Xbox systems will also load the same track and show the race from the selected view.

Copy Cars

Suppose you just bought a car off of some person on Xbox Live and you don't have it unlocked. To copy a car, you must have at least 2 profiles. Let's say the profile with the car you wish to copy is named profile A. Your secondary is named Profile B. Load up Profile B, go to Garage and select Profile to Profile. Then click on the name of the profile that owns the car you wish to copy. Find the car, and buy it from the profile, it will stay in the profile you bought it from and you will also have it in your secondary profile. Now that you have done that, you can load up Profile A and buy that car. Now you will have 2 of that car, and you can continue buying it.
