Change Cost of weapons

Backup the file before editing!

It is possible to edit the INI.big file in your game directory. But you have to use a Hex-Editor.
Do not change the lenght of the file or the game will not boot again..
Just Overwrite the Text you need.
Example:
Search for 'BuildCost' and overwrite it like
'BuildCost = 2000' Orig.
'BuildCost = 0000' Faked.
Do not DELETE anything.

How to blow up a battalion of infantries

If you are the Chinese make at least 10 inferno tanks and send them all together at once and park them somewhere where your opponent love to send you those rebels or rangers or red guards to sneak on you and once they pass you you can watch the fireworks blow!!! inferno tank works great with their technology too!!! now you know how to beat those scums! [note: this works too with the GLA toxic truck.]

Get Old Unit Names

After buying or winning the Carnival level, you will see a haunted house while skating around. Go up to the house and you will see two rails on the 'porch', symmetrically side by side. Grind one of the two and you will enter another dimension with floating skulls and spirals. You will grind into the mouth of a large head and go back into the level.

How to win against turtling opponents

In order to unlock your skater's pro challenge, you must get 90 pro points. The 'Pro Challenge Unlocked' message will appear. The game will then tell you the level it is in and ask if you want to go there. If you choose 'No' you can still go back and do it at anytime. Pro challenges are the most difficult goals. You may want to build your stats before you attempt them.

Airfield Tip

In Debug Mode and during gameplay, press ~ and type any of the following 'Codes':

Activate all cheats

Bring up the map, click on it, then type: allcheats

Ghost town

Make your base invisible by doing the following. Bring down console, then type in ghost town.

Build order

Here is a suggested order in which you can build your base so that you get lots of money as quickly as possible. Note that this is only one method, and that there are plenty of other build orders that are just as good.
Deploy the Moveable Construction Vehicle, then build power, barracks, refinery, power, weapons factory, then harvester (1 or 2). You should now be earning a steady income which you can build upon.

Multiplayer allies

When you are playing a multiplayer game, if there are two allies, make one of them GLA. Now build a tunnel network beside your friend and give him troopers and vehicles.

Honors

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the 'skirmishstats.ini' file in the 'command and conquer generals data' folder. It can be found in 'c:my documents' or 'c:documents and settingsadministrator' in Windows XP. Change the Honors line to 'Honors = 999999999999999'. If you do not have the Honors line, enter that line under the Challenge line.
